FFXIBGM: "Waiting on login..." (sound familiar?)
« on: May 01, 2014, 08:44:40 PM »
About to go nuts here...

When curious about the tips and tricks of doing music integration and replacement in FFXI, I finally stumbled across FFXIBGM at FFXI Dats. The version was 1.70, which is SUPPOSED to work with WIndows 7...but something's amiss.

At first, I hit the "Calibrating" wall. I managed to bypass that by setting FFXIBGM to run as an XP application (tried both SP settings, too). That got me to the next wall..."waiting on login".

I found the old thread on this in the Windower legacy forums, but none of the hints worked. Flopping back and forth on setting ProcessSearch  to 0 and 1, making sure my character name is put with SettingApp in the usr file...nada. Granted, maybe I'm overcompensating for the calibrate issue...

Oh, and this IS a 64-bit version of Windows 7. That's what drove me to try changing the compatibility settings.

What am I missing?!?
