FFXI Modding Tool Collection

http://ffxidats.caarrie.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1340

A collection of various modding tools that otherwise might be hard to find. Included are:

AltanaViewer - The all-purpose .dat file reader, for anything from models, animations, music, images, etc. Contains lists updated around summer 2014, including Adoulin music lists and models for Ergon weapons.
ModelViewer - Guess what this does? Anyway, the lists have not been updated since around Abyssea, but it does carry the very valuable feature of exporting .dat files to .mqo files, allowing you to edit models in Metasequoia. Do note that any editing done in Metasequoia cannot be used to delete/add vertices, or else you won't be able to import the files back.
VRS - Virtual Reality Studio, the powerful but difficult program for modifying model files, skeletons, and animations. There are a variety of tutorials out there for using this program, and with their help you have the ability to create models from scratch, remove sections of a model, combine models, increase texture resolution, and port models between races.
ChangeTex - The classic texture importing/exporting program. I don't think this has ever been or needed to have been updated.
FFXI Icon Change v3.3 - A nifty little program used to import/export status icons.
XIMC - The classic .wav to .bgw converter, for use in making your own music files.
Adobe Photoshop .dds plugin - Not a program, but still very important! This plugin lets you load and save .dds files (textures) in Photoshop.

Anyone know a way around logging into the program since I guess it's paid for now?

Which set of lists (which year) does the version of Model Viewer included in this pack use?
